Short clamping locations - No problem
The single taper clamping system from König-mtm is particularly suited for very short clamping lengths, large component diameters and related great tolerances. The axial movement of the collet chuck over the single taper leads to the radial expansion of the clamping location. And that's not all - the component is centred, clamped and at the same time forms a pull-down spring return.
