Hydraulic clamping systems

Machine driven

The build-up of the oil pressure within the clamping system occurs via the machine mechanism. The clamping area is pressurized to ensure a secure clamping of the component. The clamping surface expands in the elastic area up to 0.3% of the diameter. Proper pre-preparation of component is presumed.

Pull force

The actuation of this clamping system is done via the draw gear of the machine. The required interior pressure is created by the initiated tensile force using the integrated clamping piston. This causes the expansion of the clamping location, which centres and securely clamps the component.

Push force

The clamping system is actuated using the machine-side compressive force. The clamping piston increases the internal pressure, causing the clamping surface to expand. This causes the expansion of the clamping location which centres and securely clamps the component!

Permanent

There is a permanent centring and secure clamping of the component in this type of clamping system. The pre-tensioned spring package continually ensures expansion of the clamping location. Unclamping occurs machine-side via compressive force. Thus secure clamping of the components is guaranteed if there is a machine failure or power outage.

Machine pressure

The clamping system is actuated by the machine hydraulics of the machine used. If there is insufficient machine pressure, the required clamping pressure is created using an integrated pressure intensifier. This causes the expansion of the clamping location which centres and securely clamps the component!
